Canon: Darkstalkers
Canonpoint: After leaving Jedah to lure others back

Background: Here is a link~

Personality: Everything Lilith does is guided by her curiosity and need for excitement. Before being given a body by Jedah, her soul felt the constant need to explore and experience life. She had a will to live despite only being a small portion of a soul, and this desire was strong enough that Jedah found her, gave her a vessel, and tried to set her to work for his cause. Of course, it was silly of him to trust her. Now with a body, she could live! She could explore! She could indulge her curiosity and learn so many new things. This new found freedom allowed her to do whatever she wanted, and every single experience was brand new to her. Being a succubus as well, excitement fed her. Stimulation, be it physical, mental, or even through the invasion of an unknowing person's dreams, was crucial for her existence.

The way she interacts with the world around her is like that of a small child. She doesn't understand many things, nor the potential cruelty in the world. Always wide eyed and innocent, Lilith assumes the best of things and other people, and reacts accordingly. She could go from fighting someone (because why not? It's fun!) straight to asking them to tell her about something new and fun. And this person has beautiful eyes, so why not give them to Lilith? Whether or not she understands the weight of those words is unknown, but even the excitement she feels is something new.

She is also forever playful. After spending so long without a body, forced to just watch the world from afar, Lilith isn't about to waste any time. Every new person she meets is a new plaything. She teases constantly, giggling like a little girl while she admires her playmate's lifeless body. In many ways, her mannerisms are cat-like. The reactions she can garner from people fill her with great joy, and it wouldn't be difficult for her to push someone's body too far, or to toy with them innocently until suddenly... that body stops moving. She doesn't do it with any malice, and would much rather keep playing, but it's not her fault if something goes wrong...

On the other hand, Lilith's boundless enthusiasm and innocence easily crosses over into being too naive. She assumes the best in everyone, to the point of being far too trusting. Lilith wouldn't purposefully try to deceive someone, so why would anyone else act differently? Her only frame of reference is herself, and her knowledge of the world is very limited. She doesn't seem to question Jedah's reasons for wanting her to gather up so many people, and the only reason she doesn't end up helping him out entirely is because she'd rather make use of her new body. Lilith also tends to miss cues and react to situations in bizarre ways; one of her more notable attacks is her skipping towards the opponent to give them a hug. A nice hug. With wing-scythes. Giggling the whole time. And of course, in being a succubus, the majority of her win quotes are just that right amount of suggestive that it's hard to tell if she's saying them with purpose.

Even before she gained a body, Lilith's existence was centered around longing. Her soul only grew so strong because it wanted to exist. She wanted to experience the world, and there was a carnal urge to do so. This was what drew Jedah to give her a physical form, albeit one that couldn't maintain itself well. And, it's important to understand just how strong of a soul Lilith has; she is technically only 1/3 of a greater soul, yet was able to essentially become her own person. She isn't one to be disappointed and give up at the slightest hardship, because she's already had to work much harder than average to simply exist. It would be a waste of all her effort, and that simply wouldn't do!

Wish: "I wish to feel whole, so I can experience all the fun things the world has to offer me!"

An incredibly selfish wish, but one coming from a pure, simple desire. Lilith's whole being revolves around her feeling incomplete, like she's missing an integral part of herself. And how can someone truly enjoy herself, with that nagging thought in her head? Every experience is new to Lilith, and the most important thing to her, is being herself.

With this wish, her greatest desire is granted; her soul will manifest a body that can maintain itself without worry of fading away... nevermind that in making a wish, this would come true regardless. As her wish centers around her own thirst for new experiences and the next bit of excitement in her life, her powers reflect that.

Power: Lilith's active ability is a form of mimicry. By watching the magic of another Magi, she will be able to learn from it and infuse it into her own attacks. This is not a foolproof power, as her own experience of what that magic is affects how she is able to copy it. If she doesn't see exactly what makes up that magic, she won't be able to copy it, as she isn't able to merely assume how the magic functions. She has to be within close range; an explosion far off into the distance is useless, but fighting alongside a fellow Magi would allow her to watch and learn.

Of course, this also takes a majority of her focus to do so, and Lilith must currently be transformed. This isn't an ability that would allow her to just watch from the corner of her eye and suddenly be able to copy, so in the heat of a battle she wouldn't be doing any copying. In addition, the magnitude of it is greatly diminished. If she were to, for instance, copy from Mami's ribbon techniques, she would potentially be able to tether two scythe blades together, but nothing further. Something like Homura's time abilities or Sayaka's healing wouldn't be possible for her to copy, as neither are things she could watch and begin to understand. A fire based ability would allow her to create a small flame to combine with her weapons and natural abilities, a little bit like games where you can equip elemental accessories and your attacks will gain that element.

She also wouldn't be able to permanently hold onto a copied ability, unless she practised extensively and frequently with the Magi she copied from, and even then it would be more like her relearning it constantly. It would take at least a few times of observing the Magi to be able to copy, and potentially be an ability that Lilith simply couldn't figure out and understand enough to copy it. From an OOC perspective, I would most likely put up a permissions post so if anyone wished for Lilith not to copy their character's powers, it wouldn't happen.

Lilith's passive ability relates to how much fun she's having at the time. When excited, her senses will grow stronger in accordance. For example, her reaction time would speed up, and she would have an easier time focusing and shifting her attention quickly. Her vision and hearing would also grow sharper. This ability does have a limit, of course. At most, her senses would improve by about 25%, and if she finds herself growing bored of a situation, her senses will diminish back to her baseline. Fear and anger will also diminish her ability, as they are technically different states of arousal than excitement.

...I had to get one joke like that in here.
